Averroes Academy High School follows the Ontario Ministry of Education’s curriculum and policy documents in all our procedures, plans, and administrative decisions. We have created an academically rich and technologically sound environment so our students can earn the credits required for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Additionally, we are committed to assisting them in gaining knowledge and skills necessary for living and working.

Averroes Academy High Schools recognizes our students’ dire need to complete their secondary school education and pursue their tertiary education in a desired post-secondary institution. We are committed as a private high school in Ontario to create a suitable learning environment for our students to gain the necessary knowledge and skills that lead them to achieve their academic goals. The prime purpose of Averroes Academy High School is to assist students in their journey towards academic scholarship. We understand that successful completion of the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) marks a significant milestone in our students’ journey. We are committed to creating a supportive and intellectually rich environment where they can learn and achieve the hands-on experience necessary for their intellectual growth and gain required knowledge and skills. The success criteria in Ontario secondary school curriculum further encourage us to acknowledge that one’s intellectual growth should be balanced with their emotional well-being for better living in a plurilinguistics and pluricultural context.
